Qualifications

• Associate degree or paralegal certificate required; bachelor's preferred.
• Prior paralegal experience in civil litigation defense strongly preferred.
• Strong understanding of civil litigation procedures and court rules.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong organizational skills with ability to manage deadlines.
• Proficiency with research tools, e-filing systems, and MS Office.

Responsibilities

• Assist attorneys with all phases of civil litigation from intake to trial.
• Draft, proofread, and format pleadings, motions, and discovery requests.
• Organize and maintain case files and exhibits in physical and electronic formats.
• Conduct legal and factual research to support case strategy.
• Coordinate depositions, hearings, mediations, and trial logistics.
• Communicate with clients, insurance adjusters, and opposing counsel.
• Prepare trial exhibits and assist with trial preparation.
• Track deadlines and court filing requirements using case management systems.
• Assist with e-filing in state and federal courts.
• Review and summarize medical records and other documents.
• Support discovery management and document production.
• Maintain confidentiality and professionalism.
