Orion Placement in Pennsylvania seeks a civil litigator to manage matters from evaluation through resolution with direct client contact and courtroom exposure. The position is on-site in Lansdale or Pottstown, offering a path to grow within an established regional firm.

The ideal candidate has 2+ years of civil litigation experience, strong research and writing skills, and the ability to handle pleadings, discovery, motions, and court appearances.

Qualifications

• Active Pennsylvania Bar license in good standing.
• 2+ years of civil litigation experience.
• Hands on experience with pleadings, discovery, motions, and court appearances.
• Strong legal research, writing, advocacy, and communication skills.
• Ability to manage multiple matters and deadlines effectively.
• On-site work in Lansdale or Pottstown with court attendances as required.

Responsibilities

• Manage civil litigation matters from initial evaluation through resolution.
• Draft pleadings, motions, briefs, discovery requests, and other litigation documents.
• Conduct and defend depositions and participate in discovery strategy.
• Appear in Pennsylvania courts for hearings, conferences, motions, and other proceedings.
• Develop case strategies and advise clients on risks, options, and potential outcomes.
• Negotiate settlements and work toward efficient, practical resolutions when appropriate.
• Conduct legal research and prepare persuasive written arguments.
• Collaborate with attorneys and support staff while independently managing deadlines and caseload responsibilities.

Location:

This position can be based in Lansdale or Pottstown, Pennsylvania. The role is primarily on site, particularly while getting established with our team and clients. Some flexibility may be available once established.

Note:

Candidates must be admitted to the Pennsylvania Bar and have 2+ years of civil litigation experience. This position requires the ability to work primarily in person and attend court proceedings as needed.
