Orion Placement seeks a civil litigation attorney to manage matters from evaluation through resolution. Based in Lansdale or Pottstown, PA, the role is primarily on-site as you establish relationships with clients and courts.

Applicants must be admitted to the Pennsylvania Bar and have 2+ years of civil litigation experience, with hands-on pleadings, discovery, motions, and court appearances. The firm offers a collaborative, community-focused practice and opportunities for growth.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of civil litigation experience.
• Hands on experience with pleadings, discovery, motions, and court appearances.
• Strong legal research, writing, advocacy, and communication skills.
• Ability to manage multiple matters and deadlines effectively.
• Ability to work primarily on site in Lansdale or Pottstown and attend court as required.

Responsibilities

• Manage civil litigation matters from initial evaluation through resolution.
• Draft pleadings, motions, briefs, discovery requests, and other litigation documents.
• Conduct and defend depositions and participate in discovery strategy.
• Appear in Pennsylvania courts for hearings, conferences, motions, and other proceedings.
• Develop case strategies and advise clients on risks, options, and potential outcomes.
• Negotiate settlements and work toward efficient, practical resolutions when appropriate.
• Conduct legal research and prepare persuasive written arguments.
• Collaborate with attorneys and support staff while independently managing deadlines and caseload responsibilities.

Location

This position can be based in Lansdale or Pottstown, Pennsylvania. The role is primarily on site, particularly while getting established with our team and clients. Some flexibility may be available once established.
