Job summary

Orionplacement in Pennsylvania is seeking an experienced civil litigation attorney to manage matters from initial evaluation through resolution, with direct client contact and courtroom exposure.

The ideal candidate is admitted to the Pennsylvania Bar with 2+ years of civil litigation experience, strong pleadings, discovery, and court-appearance skills. The role is primarily on-site in Lansdale or Pottstown, with occasional in-person court proceedings as needed.

Qualifications

• Active Pennsylvania Bar license in good standing.
• 2+ years of civil litigation experience.
• Hands on experience with pleadings, discovery, motions, and court appearances.
• Strong legal research, writing, advocacy, and communication skills.
• Ability to manage multiple matters and deadlines effectively.
• Ability to work primarily on site in Lansdale or Pottstown and attend court as required.

Responsibilities

• Manage civil litigation matters from initial evaluation through resolution.
• Draft pleadings, motions, briefs, discovery requests, and other litigation documents.
• Conduct and defend depositions and participate in discovery strategy.
• Appear in Pennsylvania courts for hearings, conferences, motions, and other proceedings.
• Develop case strategies and advise clients on risks, options, and potential outcomes.
• Negotiate settlements and work toward efficient, practical resolutions when appropriate.
• Conduct legal research and prepare persuasive written arguments.
• Collaborate with attorneys and support staff while independently managing deadlines and caseload responsibilities.

Pay: $120,000.00 - $175,000.00 per year

Location:

This position can be based in Lansdale or Pottstown, Pennsylvania. The role is primarily on site, particularly while getting established with our team and clients. Some flexibility may be available once established.
