Job summary

Fishbeck is seeking a Civil Field Intern to support our Civil Field team across regional Michigan offices. You will help prepare daily reports, verify that construction meets design and contract requirements, and assist with RFIs while observing project execution.

This internship targets students in Civil or Environmental Engineering who are eager to learn, comfortable outdoors, travel to sites, and contribute to meaningful infrastructure projects. Hybrid options available.

Qualifications

• Currently enrolled in a Civil or Environmental Engineering program.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Prior experience in construction, field inspection, or testing is a plus.
• Comfortable working outdoors and traveling to project sites.
• Eager to learn and contribute to meaningful infrastructure projects.

Responsibilities

• Help prepare daily reports documenting jobsite conditions and completed work.

Working with our Civil Field team, you will help with daily reports and assist with verifying construction meets all specifications and other requirements.
