Job summary

Fishbeck is seeking a Civil Field intern to support the Civil Field team on regional Michigan projects. The role involves preparing daily reports, verifying construction against design and contract requirements, and assisting engineers and inspectors with RFIs.

You will participate in site visits and learn how to communicate findings with multidisciplinary teams. Ideal candidates are enrolled in Civil or Environmental Engineering with strong communication skills, outdoor work comfort, and a

• Enrolled/currently pursuing Civil or Environmental Engineering studies.
• Strong written and verbal communication abilities.
• Prior experience in construction, field inspection, or testing is a plus.
• Comfortable working outdoors and traveling to project sites.
• Eager to learn and contribute to infrastructure projects.

Working with our Civil Field team, you will help with daily reports and assist with verifying construction meets all specifications and other requirements.

• Participate in site visits and observe project execution firsthand.
• Learn how to communicate findings and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams.

• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
