Job summary

Day & Zimmermann Company invites a Civil Engineering Intern to join the Mason & Hanger team. You will assist the Civil Department by translating markup drawings into CAD/Civil3D/OpenSite Designer, support site modeling, and help with engineering calculations.

You will perform design calculations, input markup drawings into CAD/Civil3D/OpenSite Designer, assist in cost estimates, and help assemble project submittals while learning from engineers and designers in a collaborative environment at our

Qualifications

• Currently enrolled in college.
• U.S. citizenship is required for this position.
• Great attitude and team player.
• Successful completion of drug and background screening process.

Responsibilities

• Perform design calculations under supervision of engineers.
• Incorporate marked up drawings into CAD/Civil3D/OpenSite Designer platforms.
• Assist in cost estimate preparation.
• Assist in assembly of project submittals.
• Complying with data protection principles while handling personal, protected and / or Covered Defense Information on behalf of Day & Zimmermann.
