Job summary

Professional Engineering Consultants is seeking an Engineering Intern to assist with design on multiple projects, perform standard engineering calculations, and prepare design deliverables. You'll use BIM/CAD software, hand calculations, and computer-based methods under supervision of a Project or Design Engineer.

The role offers exposure to drafting/modeling, coordination with staff, and preparation of construction documents in line with codes and criteria.

Qualifications

• Pursuing a BS in Engineering with a 3.0 GPA or higher.
• Junior or senior-year student preferred.
• FE exam completion preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform design calculations by hand and using software.
• Draft and model engineering designs of projects.
• Coordinate with other design staff.
• Produce construction documents and specifications compliant with codes.
