Job summary

Day & Zimmermann Company is seeking Architectural Summer Interns to join the Mason & Hanger team in Glen Allen, VA. The role targets students in an accredited architecture program and focuses on learning production tools and executing project tasks under supervision.

Interns will work in a studio environment, creating and editing drawings, assisting with presentations, models, renderings, and proposals while maintaining data privacy and security requirements.

Qualifications

• Currently enrolled in an accredited Architecture program or vo/tech school.
• US citizenship required; ability to obtain Top Secret clearance.
• Successful drug and background screening.
• Strong teamwork and proactive learning mindset.

Responsibilities

• Create and edit drawings (CAD / BIM).
• Support senior architecture staff with assigned tasks.
• Assist with presentations, models, renderings, and proposals.
• Comply with data protection policies when handling information.
