Job summary

Day & Zimmermann Company invites a Civil Engineering Intern to join the Mason & Hanger team. You will assist the Civil Department by translating markup drawings into CAD/Civil3D/OpenSite Designer, support site modeling, and help with engineering calculations.

You will perform design calculations, input markup drawings into CAD/Civil3D/OpenSite Designer, assist in cost estimates, and help assemble project submittals while learning from engineers and designers in a collaborative environment at our

We're looking for aCivil Engineering Intern,to join ourMason & Hanger team.The CivilIntern will assist the Civil Department by incorporating markup up drawings into CAD/BIM platforms, assist in computer aided site modeling, providing assistance with engineering calculations and any other supporting tasks to support engineers and designers.

As the Civil EngineeringIntern, here's the work you'll do:

• Perform design calculations under supervision of engineers.
• Incorporate marked up drawings into CAD/Civil3D/OpenSite Designer platforms.
• Assist in cost estimate preparation.
• Assist in assembly of project submittals.
• Complying with data protection principles while handling personal, protected and / or Covered Defense Information on behalf of Day & Zimmermann. Data Handlers should be trained to follow documented policies, standard operating procedures and secure practices associated with protecting trusted employee and customer data.
