Day & Zimmermann Company’s Mason & Hanger team seeks a Structural Engineering Intern in Lexington, KY. You will assist the Structural Department by converting markup drawings into CAD/BIM platforms and support engineers with calculations and submittals.

Qualifications

• Currently enrolled in college.
• Great attitude and team player.
• U.S. citizenship is required for this position.
• Successful completion of drug and background screening process.

Responsibilities

• Perform design calculations under supervision of engineers.
• Incorporate marked up drawings into CAD/BIM platforms.
• Assist in cost estimate preparation.
• Assist in assembly of project submittals.
• Complying with data protection principles while handling personal, protected and / or Covered Defense Information on behalf of Day & Zimmermann.
