Job summary

Day & Zimmermann Company is seeking a Civil Engineering Intern to support the Civil Department by converting markup drawings into CAD/Civil3D/OpenSite Designer environments and aiding in site modeling and engineering calculations. You will assist engineers and designers with submittals and cost estimates as part of a hands-on internship.

Qualified students are enrolled in college, capable of handling data privacy requirements, and prepared to succeed in a fast-paced, collaborative team.

Qualifications

• U.S. citizenship required due to federal contract.
• Drug and background screening required.
• Great attitude and team player.

Responsibilities

• Perform design calculations under supervision of engineers.
• Incorporate marked up drawings into CAD/Civil3D/OpenSite Designer platforms.
• Assist in cost estimate preparation.
• Assist in assembly of project submittals.
• Comply with data protection principles while handling sensitive information.
