Job summary

Professional Engineering Consultants seeks an Engineering Intern to assist with design on multiple projects, perform standard calculations, and prepare design deliverables using BIM/CAD tools.

Under supervision of a Project/Design Engineer, you will draft and model designs, coordinate with staff, produce construction documents, and ensure code compliance. Ideal for a BS student in engineering with a 3.0+ GPA; FE exam preferred.

Qualifications

• Currently pursuing a BS degree in Engineering or related field.
• GPA of 3.0 or higher required.
• Junior or senior year preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform design calculations by hand and with software.
• Draft and model engineering designs.
• Coordinate with other design staff.
• Produce construction documents and specs per codes.
• Review deliverables for checklist compliance.
• Organize project information per standards.
