Job summary

Professional Engineering Consultants is seeking an Engineering Intern to support design on multiple projects, perform standard engineering calculations, and prepare deliverables using BIM/CAD software. The role emphasizes collaboration, accuracy, and adherence to design criteria.

Under supervision of a Project Engineer, you will draft and model designs, coordinate with staff, prepare construction documents, and help organize project information in accordance with corporate standards.

Qualifications

• Currently pursuing a BS degree in Engineering or related field from an accredited university.
• Must have a 3.0 GPA or higher.
• Student entering junior or senior year preferred

Responsibilities

• Assist with engineering design calculations by hand and computer software.
• Drafting/modeling of engineering design and coordination with design staff.
• Prepare construction documents and specifications in compliance with building codes/design criteria.
• Review project deliverables for compliance with design checklists and drafting standards.
• Organize project information and files according to corporate standard practices.
