Job summary

Granite Construction Incorporated is seeking a Civil/Estimating professional to provide technical engineering and cost information for construction projects, ensuring compliance with engineering standards. Responsibilities include interpreting designs for craft workers, preparing drawings and estimates, supporting project controls, and coordinating with on-site teams to maintain schedule and quality.

A Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or related field and 2+ years of estimating support

Qualifications

• Proficiency with MS Office products (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
• Experience with AGTEK Take-off software or similar estimation tools.
• Working knowledge of drawings, specifications, and material standards.

Responsibilities

• Assist with job controls to ensure compliance with contract, budget, schedule, forecasting and job costing.
• Interpret design/drawings for craft workers installing material to ensure specifications are followed.
• Interface with on-site departments to resolve problems and support project schedule.
• Prepare and disseminate documentation such as status reports, punch lists, and material calculations to supervisors.
