Job summary

PINPOINT PRECISION ENGINEERING in Illinois seeks a Civil Engineer II to join a growing team. You will manage construction projects, perform technical analysis, and contribute to QA/QC and cost estimates.

Ideal candidates have a Bachelor's in Civil/Environmental Engineering, an active EIT or PE, DOCQ certification, 3–5 years of field experience on highway projects, and familiarity with IDOT, Tollway, and CDOT systems. Proficiency in MicroStation, CMMS, and e-Builder is preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required in Civil/Environmental Engineering or related field.
• IDOT DOCQ certification preferred.
• 3–5 years of field experience in highway/roadway construction management.
• Familiarity with IDOT, Illinois Tollway, and CDOT systems.
• Strong communication and report writing skills.

You’ll be a great fit if this is you

• Bachelor’s Degree in Civil/Environmental Engineering or related.
• EIT License or P.E.
• IDOT Documentation of Contract Quantities (DOCQ) Certification.
• 3-5 years of field experience.
• Highway and/or Roadway Construction Management experience.
• Knowledge of IDOT, Illinois Tollway, and CDOT systems and operations;
• Working knowledge of Microstation, CMMS, and e-Builder preferred.
• Strong written and oral communication skills.
• Ability to write routine technical reports and correspondence
• Fluent with computer software, including Microsoft Office.
• Self-Motivated and Ambitious.

Compensation

The compensation range for this role is a good-faith estimate for the position at the time of posting. Actual compensation is dependent upon factors such as education, qualifications, experience, skill set, and physical work location.
