Job summary

Pinpoint Precision Engineering seeks an experienced Civil Engineer Project Manager to join our leadership team in Illinois. You will oversee highway and roadway projects from planning through construction, lead cross-functional teams, and manage client relationships with IDOT, Tollway, and other agencies.

You will drive strategic growth, participate in proposals, and mentor engineers and staff to build a high-performing, ownership-minded culture within a fast-growing firm.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or related field required.
• Master’s degree is a plus.
• Current Documentation of Quantities Certification is a plus.
• 10+ years of experience in highway and roadway projects.
• Building and Roadway Construction Management experience.
• Knowledge of IDOT, CDOT, Tollway and other agencies' systems.
• Strong written and verbal communication, including public speaking.

Responsibilities

• Manage construction management and roadway engineering projects from planning through construction.
• Lead project teams to deliver high-quality work on schedule and within budget.
• Coordinate project activities with clients, stakeholders, subconsultants, contractors, and regulatory agencies.
• Monitor project performance, financials, schedules, and resource allocation.
• Represent the firm in client meetings and industry events to grow the business.
• Mentor staff and support professional development and succession planning.
