Job summary

Kleinschmidt is hiring an Entry-Mid level Civil Engineer to join a multi-disciplinary team designing and supporting construction for dam removals, embankment repairs, and stream restoration. Hybrid work is available with 2-3 days in the office; multiple US locations are considered.

The role requires a BS in Civil Engineering or related field, EIT, and AutoCAD Civil 3D proficiency, with opportunities to gain experience in hydropower and related environmental solutions.

Qualifications

• BS in Civil Engineering or related field required.
• Erosion & sediment control and stormwater management design experience required.
• Prior exposure to engineering design/construction support tasks preferred.
• Proficient with AutoCAD Civil 3D.

Responsibilities

• Develop designs and provide construction support for dam removals and related projects.
• Collaborate with scientists, data analysts, engineers, and licensing experts to deliver project work.
