Job summary

Jacobs is seeking an experienced Civil Engineer to join the Data Center group. You will lead civil design for land/site development, perform feasibility and due diligence, and coordinate multidisciplinary teams across disciplines to support site selection and capital investments.

The role requires 8+ years of experience, a PE license, and expertise in AutoCAD Civil 3D, with ability to manage complex, multi-disciplinary projects from design through construction.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering required.
• Professional Engineer (PE) license required or in process.
• 8+ years of engineering experience with site development and industrial projects.
• Experience leading technical due diligence for site acquisition and development.

Responsibilities

• Lead civil design for land/site development in data center/industrial projects.
• Perform site feasibility, grading, drainage, utilities, and constructability analyses.
• Coordinate multidisciplinary teams across civil, architectural, energy, water, environmental, and permitting disciplines.
• Prepare permitting packages and due diligence reports for client review.
• Support site selection, land acquisition, and capital project planning.
