Job summary

Jacobs is seeking a Civil Engineer to join our Data Center group. You will help conceive initial civil design for land/site development, perform site evaluations, support site selection and acquisition, and prepare grading plans and earthwork analyses for large data center facilities.

Ideal candidates hold a Bachelor’s in Civil Engineering with a PE license, 8+ years’ experience, and expertise in AutoCAD Civil 3D, Navisworks, and ArcGIS.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering is required.
• PE license is required or in process.
• 8+ years of engineering experience in site development and industrial projects.
• Strong communication and analytical skills.
• Experience with due diligence, site selection, and permitting.

Responsibilities

• Lead civil design for land/site development.
• Perform site feasibility, grading, drainage analyses.
• Coordinate multidisciplinary due diligence teams.
• Prepare permitting packages and technical reports.
• Support client interactions and presentations.
