Job summary

Jacobs is seeking a Civil Engineer to join the Data Center group. You will lead site development, perform due diligence, and coordinate multi-disciplinary teams for large, industrial data center projects across the U.S. The role requires 8+ years of experience, a PE license, and strong communication skills.

Hybrid work policy applies; base salary ranges from $110,600 to $148,200 with potential bonus and benefits. Candidates near a Jacobs U.S. office are preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering required.
• PE license required.
• 8+ years of engineering experience including site development and industrial projects.

Responsibilities

• Lead site development for large data center facilities.
• Conduct technical due diligence for prospective sites and development opportunities.
• Prepare grading plans, earthwork analyses, and drainage design.
• Coordinate multidisciplinary teams across civil, architectural, energy, water, environmental, and permitting disciplines.
• Develop and submit permitting packages and feasibility reports.
