Job summary

Jacobs is seeking a Senior Civil Engineer to join its Data Center group. You will lead civil site development, perform feasibility studies, and coordinate multi-disciplinary teams to support site selection and capital investments.

The role involves technical due diligence, permitting, and the preparation of reports and memoranda, with a focus on industrial, data center and manufacturing projects. A PE license and extensive experience are required.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering is required.
PE license is required or active.
15+ years of engineering experience with site development and industrial projects.
Experience with large data centers or advanced manufacturing projects.
Proven ability to lead multi-disciplinary due diligence and permitting.
Strong written and verbal communication for client leadership reviews.

Responsibilities

Lead site development and master planning for large facilities.
Direct technical due diligence for greenfield/brownfield sites.
Perform grading, drainage, utilities, and access analyses.
Coordinate with architectural, energy, water, environmental, and permitting teams.
Prepare permitting packages and due diligence reports.
Lead multidisciplinary teams and manage project design and execution.
Support site selection, land acquisition, and capital project planning.
Develop site selection criteria and scoring methodologies.
