Job summary

Jacobs is seeking a Civil Engineer for our Data Center group in the United States. You will lead civil design for land/site development, perform site evaluations, and support site selection and acquisition for large data center facilities.

You will conduct technical due diligence, assess infrastructure constraints, and collaborate with multi-disciplinary teams to deliver capital projects on time and within scope.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering and a PE license.
• 8+ years of engineering experience with site development and industrial projects.
• Ability to lead multi-disciplinary teams and communicate technical findings clearly.

Responsibilities

• Lead site development, grading plans, and earthwork analysis for large data center facilities.
• Perform technical due diligence, risk assessment, and development feasibility.
• Coordinate with architectural, energy/power, water, environmental, and permitting teams.
• Prepare permit packages and executive-level site selection reports.
• Develop and review civil construction documents and specifications.
• Support site selection, land acquisition, and capital project planning.
