Job summary

Jacobs is seeking a Civil Engineer to join the Data Center group in the United States. You will oversee civil design for land/site development, perform site evaluations, support site acquisition, and manage earthwork and drainage analyses for data centers and manufacturing facilities.

You will conduct due diligence, assess infrastructure availability, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to guide investment decisions while aligning with client expectations and project scopes.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering required.
• PE license required.
• 8+ years engineering experience including site development and industrial projects.

Responsibilities

• Lead site development, grading, and drainage analyses for large data center facilities.
• Perform technical due diligence for greenfield and brownfield opportunities.
• Coordinate multidisciplinary teams across civil, architectural, energy, water, environmental, and permitting disciplines.
