Job summary

Jacobs is seeking a Senior Civil Engineer to join the Data Center group. You will lead site development, due diligence, and feasibility for large industrial projects, coordinating civil, architectural, energy, water, environmental, and permitting teams.

You will guide site selection, risk assessments, and capital planning while collaborating with clients to define scope, budget, and schedule. The role emphasizes leadership and cross‑disciplinary coordination within a hybrid work model.

Qualifications

• BS in Civil Engineering required; PE license preferred or in progress.
• 15+ years of engineering experience with site development and industrial projects.
• Strong ability to lead due diligence, site selection, and risk assessments.
• Experience with AutoCAD Civil 3D for design modules.
• Ability to communicate complex findings to clients and leadership.

Responsibilities

• Lead site development, master planning, and site selection for large data center facilities.
• Drive technical due diligence for greenfield and brownfield projects.
• Conduct grading, drainage, utilities, and permitting analyses.
• Prepare engineering reports, memos, and executive recommendations.
• Coordinate multidisciplinary teams across civil, architectural, environmental, and power groups.
