This hands-on role requires strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage deadlines while working with attorneys, clients, and staff in a fast-paced environment. Duties include drafting pleadings, motions, subpoenas and discovery responses; case file management; trial prep; legal research; and coordinating with clients, experts, and court personnel.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of paralegal experience supporting attorneys in civil litigation.
• Experience with state and federal court filing, including e-filing systems.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint).
• Strong organizational, analytical, and communication skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines with minimal supervision.
• High School Diploma or equivalent; Paralegal certificate a plus.

Responsabilités

• Draft and prepare legal documents including pleadings, discovery responses, motions, subpoenas, correspondence, and reports under the attorney's direction.
• Prepare and track subpoenas and other requests for information.
• Organize, maintain, and manage case files (physical and electronic).
• Monitor case progress and elevate issues requiring attorney involvement.
• Maintain and manage attorney calendars, including trial dates and discovery deadlines.
• Assist with trial preparation, including compiling exhibits, coordinating materials, and organizing case files.
• Conduct legal research and assist with case development as needed.
• Review, organize, and summarize case-related documents and records.
• Coordinate with clients, experts, and court personnel.
• Perform additional duties as assigned.
