Job summary

Quintairos, Prieto, Wood & Boyer, P.A. in Scottsdale, AZ, seeks a full‑time Legal Assistant to support civil defense litigation teams. The role involves drafting documents, calendar management, depositions, and e-filing, collaborating with attorneys, clients, and staff.

Ideal candidates have 5+ years of civil defense support, strong MS Office skills, and familiarity with state e-filing; PACER experience is a plus. A high school diploma is required.

Qualifications

5+ years of prior legal assistant experience supporting litigators in civil defense litigation.
Arizona state filing, including E-Filing experience required; Federal E-Filing experience using PACER is a plus.
Strong communication and organizational skills; ability to work with minimal supervision; team player.

Responsibilities

Drafts and prepares correspondence and other documents under attorney direction.
Maintains calendars for trial and discovery deadlines; schedules depositions and hearings.
E-files documents in state and federal court databases; assists with time entry on billing software.
Keeps files organized; handles subpoenas and requests for information; performs other duties as assigned.
