Job summary

The ideal candidate will support attorneys through all phases of litigation, manage case deadlines, draft pleadings, organize records, and communicate with clients and witnesses in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5+ years of paralegal experience in civil litigation.
• Strong writing, editing, and communication skills required.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and case management software; ability to manage deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Support attorneys in all phases of litigation including case development, discovery, and trial preparation.
• Draft pleadings, discovery responses, subpoenas, motions, and summaries.
• Organize and analyze documentation such as accident reports, medical records, and expert reports.
• Manage case calendars, track court deadlines, and maintain attorney schedules.
• Conduct legal and factual research related to liability and damages.
• Communicate with clients, witnesses, experts, and opposing counsel.
• Prepare exhibits and materials for depositions, mediations, and trial.
• Assist with court filings, including Texas State and Federal E‑Filing procedures.
• Maintain organized case files in electronic and physical formats.
• Assist with billing and time entry as needed.
