Job summary

City Rise Safety, LLC. is seeking a Staff Accountant to manage General Ledger entries and month-end closings for multiple entities. You will work cross-functionally to enhance day-to-day operations within the department.

The role requires 3–5 years of accounting, familiarity with Sage Intacct or similar software, and strong Excel/365 skills. Located in Fremont, CA, the position is full-time and non-exempt with competitive benefits.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• Minimum 3–5 years of accounting, finance, and payroll experience.
• Construction industry or professional services industry experience preferred.
• Experience using Sage Intacct, Sage, or similar accounting software.
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft 365 applications, including Excel, Word, and Outlook

Responsibilities

• General Ledger management and month-end closings for multiple entities.
• Intercompany reconciliations and account recs.
• AR accruals, rebates, prepaid expenses, fixed assets, and accruals.
• Prepare monthly P&L and other reporting; assist audits.

Position Summary

We are seeking an individual who can work independently and is detailed oriented who oversees General Ledger entries. This position will work cross-functionally with all departments and enhance day-to-day operations within the department.

Essential Functions

• General Ledger
• Month End closing and account reconciliations for four separate entities
• Intercompany reconciliations
• Manual Accounts Receivable and Customer rebate accruals
• Prepaid Expenses
• Fixed Assets
• Accrued Liabilities
• Insurance
• Sales & Use Tax
• Business Licenses
• Personal Property Taxes
• Prepare monthly P&L and other reporting as assigned
• Assistance on Audits (financial statements, Sales & Use Tax, insurance, customer, union and others).
• Other duties as assigned
