Job summary

Zoox is seeking a Manager, City Operations to lead the day-to-day operations of the L3 test vehicles and robotaxi fleet in new markets. You will drive operational excellence, safety standards, and rider experience through cross-functional collaboration with product and stakeholder teams.

This senior role requires extensive experience managing large teams, implementing process improvements, and navigating regulatory environments to ensure reliable service delivery and scalable operations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required; Master's preferred.
• PMP certification or equivalent.
• 5+ years working in an NPI environment and cross-functionally with PMO or engineering organizations.
• 8+ years leading the business side of large-scale operations.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage Zoox’s test fleet and robotaxi service teams, including contingent labor.
• Develop and implement operational strategies to optimize fleet performance and reduce waste.
• Oversee daily fleet operations: deployments, maintenance tracking, and service coverage.
• Drive customer-focused operational excellence and partner with product and stakeholders for rider experience.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate technology updates and service enhancements.
• Build relationships with local stakeholders and regulatory bodies.
• Establish and monitor KPIs for reliability, safety, and customer satisfaction.
• Plan and improve site operations with emphasis on quality, safety, and efficiency.
• Provide change leadership and communicate performance trends to the organization.
