Job summary

Zoox is seeking a Manager, City Operations to lead test fleet and robotaxi operations in new markets. You will manage Zoox and contingent workforce teams, develop strategies to optimize fleet performance, and ensure exceptional safety and rider experience.

Responsibilities include daily operations, KPI tracking, stakeholder engagement, and guiding cross-functional integration of technology updates. On-site work and travel may be required in this role.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required with 8+ years of leadership in large-scale operations.
• 3+ years managing large teams of FTEs and contingent labor.
• Experience driving safety standards and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Experience in change management and handling large data sets.

Responsibilities

• Lead, develop, and manage Zoox teams responsible for test fleet and robotaxi operations.
• Develop operational strategies to optimize fleet performance and waste reduction.
• Oversee daily fleet operations, including deployments, maintenance tracking, and service coverage.
• Drive customer-focused operational excellence and partner with product and stakeholders to enhance rider experience.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate technology updates and service improvements.
• Build relationships with local stakeholders and regulatory bodies.
• Establish and monitor KPIs for safety, reliability, and customer satisfaction.
• Plan and improve site operations in terms of quality, safety, and efficiency.
• Provide effective change leadership with regular performance updates.
