Job summary

Zoox is hiring a Manager, City Operations to lead day-to-day operations of our L3 test vehicles and robotaxi fleet in Los Angeles. You will manage Zoox and contingent teams, develop strategies to optimize fleet performance, and ensure safety and high-quality service delivery in our new markets.

You will collaborate with product and cross-functional teams, build relationships with regulators, and drive KPIs for reliability and rider experience, with opportunities for growth in a fast-moving

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field.
• 8+ years leading the business side of large-scale operations.
• 3+ years managing large teams of FTEs and contingent labor.
• Experience in change management processes and managing large amounts of data.
• Ability to work on-site at market facilities and travel as needed.

Responsibilities

• Lead, develop, and manage teams responsible for Zoox’s test fleet and robotaxi service fleet.
• Develop and implement operational strategies to optimize fleet performance.
• Oversee daily fleet operations including vehicle deployments and maintenance tracking.
• Drive operational excellence by focusing on customer experience and partnering with product and stakeholders.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate technology updates and service enhancements.
• Build and maintain relationships with local stakeholders and regulatory bodies.
• Establish and monitor KPIs for service reliability, safety, and customer satisfaction.
• Plan, evaluate, and improve site operations in terms of quality, safety, and efficiency.
• Deliver effective change leadership and communicate performance trends to the organization.
