Job summary

Zoox seeks a Manager, City Operations to oversee the day-to-day operations of our L3 test vehicles and robotaxi fleet in new markets. You will manage Zoox and contingent workforce, oversee deployments, maintenance tracking, and service coverage while upholding safety standards.

You will drive operational excellence through customer-focused processes, collaborate with product and stakeholders, and build relationships with local authorities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree required.
• 8+ years leading the business side of large-scale operations.
• 3+ years managing large teams of FTEs and contingent labor.
• Experience in managing safety standards and improvement initiatives.
• Experience in change management processes & managing large data sets.
• Ability to work on-site at market facilities; willing to travel.

Responsibilities

• Lead, develop, and manage teams of Zoox and contingent workforce personnel responsible for test fleet and robotaxi service fleet.
• Develop and implement operational strategies to optimize fleet performance and eliminate waste.
• Oversee daily fleet operations, including vehicle deployments, maintenance tracking, and service coverage.
• Drive operational excellence with customer focus and collaboration with product and stakeholders for rider experience.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate technology updates and service enhancements.
• Build and maintain relationships with local stakeholders and regulatory bodies.
• Establish and monitor KPIs for service reliability, safety, and customer satisfaction.
• Plan, evaluate, and improve site operations in terms of quality, safety, and efficiency.
• Deliver effective change leadership with regular performance reporting.
