Job summary

Zoox in California seeks a Manager, City Operations to lead the day-to-day operations of our L3 test vehicles and robotaxi fleet, ensuring safe, reliable service in new markets.

You will manage Zoox and contingent teams, develop operational strategies to optimize fleet performance, and oversee deployments, maintenance tracking, and coverage.

Collaborating with product, safety, and regulatory partners, you will establish KPIs, drive continuous improvements, and deliver a premier rider experience.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field.
• 8+ years leading the business side of large-scale operations.
• 3+ years managing large teams of FTEs and contingent labor.
• Experience in maintaining safety standards and continuous improvement.
• Experience with change management and handling large data sets.
• Ability to work on-site at market facilities and travel when needed.

Responsibilities

• Lead, develop, and manage Zoox’s test fleet and robotaxi service teams.
• Develop operational strategies to optimize fleet performance and eliminate waste.
• Oversee daily fleet operations, maintenance tracking, and service coverage.
• Drive operational excellence by focusing on customers and partnering with product and stakeholders.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate technology updates and enhancements.
• Build and maintain relationships with local stakeholders and regulatory bodies.
• Establish and monitor KPIs for reliability, safety, and customer satisfaction.
• Plan, evaluate, and improve site operations in terms of quality, safety, and efficiency.
