Job summary

West Monroe is seeking Consulting Interns to join our CIO Advisory Practice. As a CIO Advisory Consulting Intern, you will gain hands‑on experience helping CIOs and technology leaders align technology strategies and investments with business priorities, improve operating performance, manage cost and risk, and deliver measurable value.

Your work may span technology strategy, operating models, digital transformation, and program management, applying business and analytical skills to support

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in progress with expected graduation Dec 2027–Aug 2028
• Minimum cumulative GPA 3.0
• Authorized to work in the United States without limitation or sponsorship now or in the future
• Reside within 50 miles of assigned office; hybrid work model
• Willingness to travel up to 50% with travel expenses covered
• Experience integrating AI tools into day-to-day workflows, with strong critical thinking

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with client and West Monroe teams to understand clients’ priorities, environments, and future needs
• Capture and synthesize discussions to identify key findings and decisions
• Gather and document requirements to support assessments and future-state designs
• Assess capabilities and opportunities to identify gaps and improvements
• Define KPIs and data sources for tracking outcomes
• Support analytical frameworks and quantitative analyses
• Develop storyboards to communicate analysis and recommendations
• Leverage AI tools to accelerate research while validating outputs
