West Monroe is seeking Consulting Interns to join our CIO Advisory Practice in New York. As a CIO Advisory Intern, you will gain hands‑on experience helping CIOs and technology leaders align technology strategies with business priorities and deliver measurable value.

You will work across technology strategy, operating models, digital transformation, analytics, and program management, collaborating with clients and West Monroe teams in a hybrid environment, with opportunities to apply AI tools

Qualifications

• Pursuing a bachelor's degree with expected graduation between Dec 2027 and Aug 2028.
• Minimum GPA 3.0.
• US work authorization without sponsorship.
• Reside within 50 miles of assigned office; hybrid work model.
• Willing to travel up to 50%; travel expenses covered.
• Experience integrating AI tools (e.g., ChatGPT) into daily workflows with critical thinking to ensure quality outputs.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with clients and West Monroe teams to understand priorities, environments, and future needs through interviews, reviews, data analysis, and workshops.
• Capture and synthesize discussions to identify findings, implications, decisions, and follow-up actions.
• Gather and document requirements to support assessments, recommendations, and future-state designs.
• Assess technology capabilities and operating models to identify gaps and improvement opportunities.
• Define KPIs and data sources, calculations, and methods to track outcomes.
• Support analytical frameworks by defining data needs and evaluating costs, benefits, risks, and scenarios.
• Conduct analyses to answer client questions, including data collection, modeling, trend identification, and recommendations.
• Develop storyboards and communicate insights clearly; translate analysis into decision-ready deliverables.
• Leverage AI and automation tools to accelerate research and improve deliverables while ensuring accuracy and bias mitigation.
