Job summary

West Monroe is seeking Consulting Interns to join our CIO Advisory Practice. As a CIO Advisory Consulting Intern, you will gain hands‑on experience helping CIOs and technology leaders make critical decisions about how technology enables their organizations.

You will apply business, technology, and analytical skills to help clients align technology strategies with business priorities and deliver measurable value.

Qualifications

• Pursuing a Bachelor's degree with an expected graduation between December 2027 and August 2028.
• Minimum cumulative GPA of 3.0.
• Legally authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship now or in the future.
• Willing to travel up to 50% and reside within 50 miles of the assigned office.
• Experience integrating AI tools (e.g., ChatGPT) into day-to-day workflows.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with client and West Monroe teams to understand clients’ business priorities and future‑state needs through interviews and workshops.
• Capture and synthesize client discussions, identifying key findings and follow‑up actions.
• Gather and document requirements to support assessments and future‑state designs.
• Assess technology capabilities and transformation opportunities to identify gaps and improvements.
• Define key performance indicators and value measures with data sources and validation methods.
• Develop analytical frameworks and quantitative analyses by evaluating costs, benefits and risks.
• Develop storyboards and communicate complex concepts as decision‑ready client deliverables.
• Leverage AI and automation tools to accelerate research and ensure high‑quality outputs.
