Job summary

Cinemark USA, Inc. is seeking an Assistant Manager to help operate the theatre, train staff, and uphold policies.

You will assist the General Manager, coordinate across departments, and ensure exceptional guest service while maintaining safety and standards. You will participate in the Management Accreditation Program and handle administrative reports, with opportunities for advancement to Senior Assistant Manager and beyond after probation.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• High School diploma or GED preferred.
• Completion of Cinemark Management Accreditation Program courses (Management Foundations, Annual Certifications, MAP Core).
• Willingness to work flexible hours including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
• Excellent Guest service orientation; strong cash handling and math skills.
• Ability to train and lead others; effective communication with all staff and guests.

Responsibilities

• Follows the direction of the General Manager and supports decisions in staff communication.
• Works across all theatre departments to ensure policy adherence and high operational standards.
• Trains and coaches Team Members in their specific job duties across departments.
• Assists in preparing administrative and special reports for the General Manager.
• Interacts with Guests to provide superior customer service and resolve issues.
• Enforces Cinemark guidelines, dress code, and safety policies; reports repair needs.
• Reports Employee relations issues to the General Manager and follows reporting protocols.
• Maintains safety, cleanliness, and security across the theatre and property.
