Job summary

NSA’s Linguists, known as MDLAs, support SIGINT missions by analyzing, transcribing, and translating key foreign language materials. The LADP offers intensive, accelerated training with multiple operational tours across offices, designed to build core analytic competencies while offering exposure to diverse tasks and settings.

MDLAs may enter LADP or direct hire into analytic roles, with emphasis on language quality, SME contributions, and high-impact reporting.

Qualifications

• ILR level 2/2 reading and listening in the target language.
• Minimum degree requirement: any field accepted.
• Experience in translation, transcription, analysis, or related field."

Responsibilities

• Engage with partners and customers to analyze foreign language materials.
• Support LADP or direct hire into analytic missions.
• Perform language quality control and act as SME when needed.
• Author and release analytic reports; mentor and coach other analysts.
• Apply SIGINT analytic techniques to synthesize大量数据 and information.
• Maintain the technical health of the mission and mastery of internal tools.
