Job summary

Modine Manufacturing Company in Lexington, KY seeks a skilled Brazer to join our production team, producing high‑quality chillers for data centers. You will braze copper and other metals, read prints and CAD as needed, and maintain strict safety and quality standards in a fast-paced setting.

Hours are 2nd shift, 3pm–11:30pm. Pay starts at $24.23/hour with a $1/hour shift differential; after nine months the rate increases to $26.23/hour.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma required or equivalent.
• Production experience in make-to-order assembly preferred.
• Ability to read prints, wiring diagrams and CAD models to meet specs preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assemble units using manual and powered hand tools per customer specs.
• Braze and solder copper, brass and metal components for chiller assemblies.
• Braze for refrigeration and water circuits per prints.
• Perform high voltage, 3-phase wiring of electrical systems.
• Measure, cut, fit, and insulate water piping assembly.
• Read blueprints and wiring diagrams to build or modify units.
• Complete quality and production checklists and processes.
• Use Windows and CAD platforms to access/enter information.
• Operate overhead hoists and powered industrial trucks as needed.
