Job summary

Modine is seeking a Brazer to join the manufacturing team in Grenada, MS, producing high-quality chillers for data centers. The Brazer will assemble and join copper and other metals using brazing techniques to ensure efficient cooling systems.

Precise work, safety adherence, and teamwork are essential in a fast-paced plant. Shifts available Mon-Thu mornings or evenings, with pay range of $17.48-$20.57 plus a $0.36 differential after 3:00 PM.

Qualifications

• 1+ years brazing/welding in manufacturing.
• Proficiency with oxy-acetylene torches and brazing equipment.
• Read and interpret blueprints, work instructions, safety guidelines.
• Detail-oriented with quality inspection capability.
• Team-oriented in a fast-paced environment.
• Lift up to 50 lbs and assume various positions.

Responsibilities

• Perform brazing and soldering of copper, brass, and other metals for chillers.
• Read blueprints and drawings to ensure correct assembly.
• Operate brazing torches and equipment to create strong joints.
• Inspect joints for quality and compliance with standards.
• Collaborate with welders, assemblers and QA for efficiency.
• Follow safety protocols for torches, gases, and hazardous materials.
• Maintain clean, 5S-compliant work area and lean practices.
• Report defects, shortages, or malfunctions to supervisor.
• Participate in continuous improvement efforts.
