Job summary

Modine Manufacturing Company in Lexington, VA is hiring an Assembler Technician to assemble cooling systems per prints and wiring diagrams. You will braz e copper and other metal components, use power tools, read CAD models, and transport materials safely on the line.

Reports to the Production Supervisor and works a 6am–6pm shift Fri–Sun. Ideal candidates have a high school diploma and production experience; safety and quality standards are emphasized as production targets are met.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Production experience in make-to-order assembly preferred.
• Ability to read and interpret prints, wiring diagrams and CAD models to meet specs.

Responsibilities

• Assemble units using prints, work instructions and wiring diagrams.
• Perform brazing for refrigeration and water circuits per print requirements.
• Perform high voltage, 3-phase wiring of electrical system.
• Measure, cut, fit and insulate water piping components.
• Read blueprints and CAD models to build or modify units and ensure quality.
