Qualifications

• GED or high school diploma required.
• 1+ years brazing experience in manufacturing.
• Proficiency with oxy-acetylene torches and brazing tools.
• Ability to read blueprints, work instructions, and safety guidelines.
• Must lift up to 50 lbs and work in varied positions.
• Knowledge of PPE and safety regulations.

Responsibilities

• Perform brazing and soldering of copper, brass, and other metals in chiller assemblies.
• Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to ensure proper assembly.
• Set up, adjust, and operate brazing torches and related equipment to achieve strong, leak-proof joints.
• Inspect joints for quality assurance, ensuring compliance with standards.
• Work with welders, assemblers, and quality control to maintain efficiency and accuracy.
• Follow all safety protocols, including handling of torches, gases, and PPE.
• Maintain a clean, organized workspace following 5S and lean principles.
• Identify defects, shortages, or equipment issues and report to supervisor.
