Modine Manufacturing Company in Grenada, MS is seeking a skilled Brazer to join our team producing high‑quality chillers for data centers. The Brazer will join copper and other metal components using brazing techniques to ensure leak‑proof joints and efficient cooling systems.

The ideal candidate has 1+ years brazing/welding experience, can read blueprints, and adheres to safety standards in a fast‑paced, team‑oriented environment. This role requires physical ability and a HS diploma or GED.

Qualifications

• 1+ years brazing/welding experience in manufacturing.
• Proficiency with oxy-acetylene torches and brazing equipment.
• Ability to read blueprints, work instructions, and safety guidelines.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to perform quality inspections.
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
• Must lift up to 50 lbs and work in various positions for extended periods.
• Knowledge of safety regulations and PPE usage.
• HS diploma or GED; brazing certificate preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform brazing and soldering of copper, brass, and other metal components.
• Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings.
• Set up, adjust, and operate brazing torches and related equipment.
• Inspect joints for quality assurance and standards compliance.
• Collaborate with welders, assemblers, and QC teams to maintain production efficiency.
• Follow safety protocols for torches, gases, and hazardous materials.
• Maintain a clean, organized work area following 5S/lean principles.
• Identify defects, shortages, or equipment malfunctions and report them.
• Participate in continuous improvement to enhance quality and processes.
