Job summary

Modine Manufacturing Company in Missouri is seeking a skilled Brazer to join our manufacturing team in producing high-quality chillers for data centers. The Brazer will join copper and other metal components using brazing techniques to ensure the integrity and efficiency of our cooling systems in a fast-paced production setting.

Mon-Fri shifts: 6:00AM-2:00PM, 2:00PM-10:00PM or 10:00PM-6:00AM with mandatory overtime on Saturdays. Base pay is $27.28 per hour.

Qualifications

1+ years of pipefitting or brazing/welding experience in manufacturing.
Proficiency in using oxy-acetylene torches and brazing equipment.
Ability to read blueprints and safety guidelines.
Strong attention to detail and quality inspections.
Must lift up to 50 lbs and work in various positions.
High school diploma or GED; technical brazing/welding certification preferred.

Responsibilities

Perform brazing and soldering of copper, brass, and other metals for chiller assemblies.
Read blueprints, schematics, and drawings to ensure proper assembly.
Set up and operate brazing torches and equipment for leak-proof joints.
Inspect joints to ensure quality and standards.
Collaborate with welders, assemblers, and QC teams.
Follow safety protocols and PPE guidelines.
Maintain clean, organized work area per 5S/lean practices.
Report defects or equipment issues to supervisor.
Participate in continuous improvement efforts.
