Job summary

Navy Region Northwest Fleet and Family Readiness (FFR) seeks a Child and Youth Program (CYP) Direct Care Supervisor to assist the facility Director with supervisory oversight for CYP Direct Care Professionals in CDC and SAC programs. Provides accountability for staff during all hours of operation.

The role focuses on directing staff, ensuring training, evaluating performance, and maintaining compliant, developmentally appropriate programming for children and youth aged 6 weeks to 18 years, while

Qualifications

• Specialized experience in child/youth services or education.
• Knowledge of CYP regulations and DoD policies.
• Ability to lead a team and schedule staff effectively.
• Strong communication and documentation skills.

Responsibilities

• Directs work to be accomplished by staff and volunteers.
• Assigns work based on priorities and staff capability.
• Conducts annual performance reviews of staff.
• Ensures staff receive required training and adhere to policies.
• Coordinates field trips and supervises program operations.
• Maintains safety and security checks in classrooms/areas.
