Job summary

Navy Region Southeast Fleet and Family Readiness (FFR) seeks a full-time CYP Assistant to supervise and engage children and youth in DoD CYP programs. The role includes planning activities, ensuring safety, and communicating with parents and staff to support child development.

Responsibilities cover implementing developmentally appropriate activities, maintaining program standards, and assisting with special events and reviews as part of DoD accreditation efforts.

Qualifications

• Ability to communicate effectively in English, both orally and in writing.
• Ability to follow verbal and written instructions.
• Ability to promote and foster effective working relationships with children, youth, and coworkers.

Responsibilities

• Provide care and supervision for children and youth in DoD CYP programs.
• Develop and implement age-appropriate activities and plans.
• Ensure safety, health, and nutrition practices are followed.
• Communicate with parents and employees about daily activities and progress.
• Assist with program evaluation and compliance with DoD standards.
• Support staff and participate in required trainings and certifications.
