Job summary

Learning Care Group is seeking a Team Lead at a child care center to inspire learning and growth in preschool children. You will lead classroom instruction, manage curriculum, and collaborate with families to support each child’s development.

You will mentor new hires, potentially assume director duties in their absence, and ensure daily care aligns with licensing guidelines and company standards. This is a hands-on, impactful role for dedicated educators.

Qualifications

• Experience in a licensed childcare facility, leading a classroom and implementing lesson plans.
• College credits towards Early Childhood Education or Child Development degree or a CDA, preferred.

Responsibilities

• Promote the social, physical, and intellectual growth of the children in your care; lead classroom management and curriculum implementation (classroom instruction at least 50% of weekly schedule).
• Communicate and build relationships with families to promote achievement for the child and support the center’s success.
• Mentor and train new hires and fellow Teachers, creating fun, interactive learning experiences for preschool children.
• Take on duties of Director or Assistant Director in their absence, including opening and closing the school.
• Ensure daily care of every child by following licensing guidelines and company standards.
