Job summary

Child Care Resource Center, Inc. is hiring a Program Assistant in a hybrid role based in Chatsworth, CA. You will provide administrative support to the Child Care Financial Assistance (CCFA) Division, handling filing, enrollment packets, notices, and eligibility records.

You will also deliver professional customer service to parents, providers, and staff, answering calls and guiding inquiries. The position requires a high school diploma or equivalent with 2 years of related work experience, or

Qualifications

High school diploma or equivalent with 2 years of related work experience; or an Associate’s Degree in psychology, sociology, child development, social work, family studies, or related field; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Knowledge or experience with Windows-based programs and data entry.

Responsibilities

Provide clerical and general assistance including filing, typing, mailings, enrollment packets, and maintaining eligibility records.
Support CCFA case management tasks and ensure compliance with program regulations.
Provide professional customer service to internal staff, clients, families, and providers; handle telephone inquiries and follow-ups.
Assist the CCFA Division with daily communications and documentation.
