Job summary

Hampstead Preschool of the Arts is seeking a reliable Floater to assist the lead teacher and support classroom activities in a licensed childcare setting. The role runs Monday through Friday from 8:30am to 5:30pm, with a focus on promoting emotional, social, cognitive, creative, and physical development.

You will help create a safe, engaging environment and build positive relationships with families. Qualifications include a high school diploma or GED and the ability to pass all background

Responsibilities

• Assist the lead teacher with all aspects of the classroom in a manner consistent with the philosophy and goals of the center.
• Implement activities that encourage each child's growth in the areas of emotion, social, cognitive, creative, and physical development.
• Take direction, accept constructive criticism, and feedback, and make improvements and changes as necessary for the betterment of the quality of the program.
• Create and maintain an environment that is clean and safe for all children.
• Establishing a professional level of rapport with each family to provide quality care for the children.
• Physical ability to work around small children including sitting, standing, walking, running, and climbing stairs.
• Ability to lift and carry up to 40 lbs. and fulfill all physical requirements of the role.

Hampstead Preschool of the Arts is a licensed childcare center seeking Floaters! To be QUALIFIED for this position, we require a high school diploma, GED and the ability to pass all background checks.

Required Shift

Monday - Friday, 8:30am - 5:30pm

Compensation

$15-$17, based on experience and education
